Here is a little video of Emily playing her keyboard and singing her little heart out...She starts out singing " You need to do what you need to do" and goes into "when you wish upon a star" and ends with "And nobody is gonna come to your birthday"

A little story about my lovely sister, Marie. As I was at work yesterday cleaning my heart out, my sister Marie calls me and asks me to throw her a surprise party for her birthday because she won't be here for her birthday. So I agree to give her a surprise party... I know sounds silly, but it makes her happy. So when I got home I began to make a nice dinner and decorate with balloons for my silly sister. At 6:10 she pulled up in front of the house and we all scattered to hide and get ready to yell "SURPRISE". Here are the pictures of my sad little surprise party. Hope she enjoyed it. Gotta love her! Well Happy Birthday Marie. Have a safe trip to PA and we will see you when you get back...

Today is a day that will live in the memories of Americans forever.
Everyone has their own personal stories and feelings.
Sept. 11, 2001
I remember sitting on the couch with Brendan,1 month old that day, laying on my legs,
smiling up at me. So innocent.
Watching the t.v. when the breaking news flashed across the screen.
I sat there in disbelief. It looked like a scene from a movie, but this was for real.
I remember looking down at Brendan with tears in my eyes thinking to myself.
I remember calling Mike at work and him not believing me.
He knew from the tone in my voice it was true...
I wanted to run for sheltar not knowing where next something would happen.
Would this be the end? I put my faith in gods hands that day.
Still wondering to myself, "What kind of a world have I brought my son into?"
As I continued to watch and see the 2nd plane hit. I burst into tear thinking who would do this?
and why?
Praying that I would change the channel and this was all just a mistake.
As those towers fell and dust and debris flew through the city I knew this was the day things were about to change.
That was the day that my life changed.
I will always remember the people who lost their lives
and always be proud of my country.
GOD BLESS THE USA...

September 9, 2008 was 8 years that Michael and I took a vow to be husband & wife.
It has been 8 blessed years. I couldn't imaging my life any other way
I have the best husband, beautiful healthy children and the best family around.
Michael bought me a bouquet of beautiful red roses.
We went out to dinner at the Oar House.
We had a wonderful night. It is so nice to have that time to ourselves.
Thank you to Mom & Dad for watching the kids for us.

Just a couple of pictures of my little JETS FANS!

Monday, September 8, 2008

Well yesterday was the NY Jets opening game, so the family was all decked out in their NY Jets paraphernalia. Needless to say the JETS won 20 to 14 so thats one game in the bag.

Later that afternoon we went to my brother Gary & Debby's house for a nice Sunday Pasta dinner and some magic tricks from Aunt Debby. It was wonderful. Food always taste better when someone else cooks it. The kids had a ball running all around and knocking down the tent...LOL, the pole was broke. Shawn had fun throwing his piece of watermelon at the treesm for what reasons, we will never know, but Uncle Gary & Carissa thought it was quite funny. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner...Some pics of our fun afternoon...

Well today, September 3, 2008 Brendan and Thomas are about to begin their first day of school...The morning started with a 7:40 wake up call.
Slowly but surely they made there way downstairs to find their breakfast of choice...French Toast Sticks and Cantaloupe.

After breakfast they washed up and put on their uniforms. Finally the moment all moms have waited for the walk to the bus stop! Gram came to take pictures and watch the boys get on the bus. At about 9:05 the bus pulled around the corner. At that moment Brendan's little hand wrapped so tightly around the stroller and tears began to run down his face as he cried "Mommy, I don't want to go." Holding back the tears myself, I peeled his fingers off the stroller and practically carried him to the bus. Thomas had no problems getting on the bus. He was so anxious and excited. To my surprise and luck, we have the same bus driver as last year and she was nice enough to let Thomas and Brendan sit together. Kindergartners have to sit in the front. With tears in his eyes and a sad wave from Brendan and a Smile from Thomas the bus drove away. The school day went well except for a phone call from the school nurse to tell me that Thomas, while bending over at lunch to pick up a wrapper, slammed his head on the lunch table. He was fine, just a little bump. Only Thomas! Well it was finally 3:30 and we all headed down to the bus stop to find ourselves waiting until 4:20!! But low and behold they finally made it home with big smiles and lots of stories. So all in all it was a great 1st day...
