It is so nice to wake up to that cool air kind of refreshes you. Have a nice cup of coffee outside on the deck and look at the beautiful morning glories in full bloom. I am enjoying the kids just running around being kids, spending days with there friends here or at the beach. I am feeling a little sentimental these days with the first day of school approaching. I am glad to have them go back, but in a way I will miss them. I know I tell them some times to grow up, but the truth of the matter is they are still babies...7 & 5 years of life is nothing. To watch their faces smile and wave good bye is bitter sweet. Here are some pictures of my morning serenity...

Well today we spent a beautiful day at the beach with some friends. It was the most beautiful day this summer that I can remember all summer. Not a cloud in the sky, no humidity, not to hot but just warm enough. The kids all playing with there friend either in the water or on the playground. No fighting or crying, just laughing and enjoying the summer the way it should be for a child. Memories is what I call them. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends to spend my time with. Hope you like the pictures of our adventurous day.

Well last night was my big night out with Shawn. We had a great time at the Ducks
Game and to top it off they WON...We started our night out with a little ice cream than we bought a ball and stood on line for over a 1/2 hour to get Buddy Harrelson from the '69 Mets to sign it for us, not that Shawn has any idea who that even was.
We had our picture sorta taken with QJ. He was a little afraid of him, but not as bad as I though he would be. He gave him a big Hi-5. After all that we finally sat in our seat a little to close for my comfort, but great seats, to Thank God for the netting because a foul ball hit that netting so hard right at my face I almost jumped out of my seat. The had two 2 run homers, a lot of fouls and some really good races. Our section 100, the Relish hot dog won the race. We got 2 $5.00 coupons for Dave & Busters, if anyone wants them let me know! All in All it was a wonderful night and some great memories were made. The weather was perfect and so was the company. He sat better than the big boys and the nice lady next to us gave us her bobble head... Thank you lady in seat 1 section 100!!
Here are some pictures of my great night out. Enjoy!

Just posting some pictures of the Ducks game that we went to for Brendan's 7th Birthday...We met up with my friend Dina and her family. We had a great night with everyone and as we were leaving a ball came over the top of the stadium and Mike ran as fast as he could down the hill to get the ball and gave it to Brendan as a little token gift for his birthday...
Well tomorrow is my big night out with my baby boy, Shawn. He is going to his 1st Ducks game and I am the one who gets to spend so quality one on one time with him. I am sure he will have a great time since he loves baseball so much. We have the best seats in the house thanks to Big Brother Bill...We are so close, we will probably feel the breeze from the fast balls. I am hoping that Shawn won't be afraid of Quacker Jack so I can get his picture. I will post the pictures when I can. Thanks for stopping by.

Well this weekend was my hubby's 35th birthday. He took the boys crabbing and fishing down in Patchogue. They caught one crab which was mighty feisty until he was thrown into a pot of hot water...I hope they can get a couple more next time. Thomas needs to be a little quicker with the net. We had a delicious Black forest cake that night to celebrate his birthday. On Sunday we have begun our new family tradition of having Sunday dinner with the FAMILY! We spent the day at Tre & Tonys. We had a nice bbq with a really delicious sausage, some Flap steak, fish, salads and corn on the knob. It was a nice day to spend with my sister and the kids had a good time getting out for the day. I hope we can have many more Sunday dinners with the family.

Well as of yesterday it was exactly 3 weeks until school starts. My sister Marie took the 2 boys to the movies today to see SPACE CHIMPS, then they went to Sayville beach and were so excited to get ice cream from the ice cream truck...I got to spend the day with Shawn, Emily & Adrienne to do some shopping for school and get some clothes for Emily. We started at Kohls, because my sister Marie was nice enough to let me use her big 30% off coupon. (THANKS SIS!) I got Brendan new sneakers. SIZE 1 already...Mike got an early birthday present...
He was excited to say the least...Then we wandered over to Childrens Place to get some fall/winter clothes for Emmy...She is getting so tall...3T!!! My babies are getting to big to fast. I hope to enjoy the rest of the summer!!

I know it has been a long time since I have posted on this blog, between school being closed and party after party I really have not had much time to actually sit down and gather a ounce of thought. My summer has been exciting to say the least. We have had many fun days swimming in the pool, sliding on the slip and slide or just riding bikes, sitting around the campfire making smores, caught a turtle, we named him Raphael, attempted to grow a garden, Going out with friends, Yard sales and doing fun stuff inside. We have had a lot of family time this summer which is really nice. I suppose that is due to all the birthdays we have in the summer. The kids have gone crabbing with Melissa & Josh and attempted to catch some with Daddy! We went to a Ducks game for Brendan's 7th birthday. Not sure if they won or not because the lightening started getting so bad we had to leave, besides the fact 3 hours into the game and we were still in the 7th inning. Regardless we had a great time. The construction on our house has finally finished and we are pretty much done with everything that had to be done on our end...Painting, Painting, Painting. If I never see another paint brush again it will be to soon. As the summer seems to come to an end to fast, I am trying to get the boys back into a routine to get them ready for school. Lots of reading and routine! I have to admit that I will be a little happy to see those buses pull up at the corner. It will be the 1st time that I will actually get to spend some alone time with just Shawn & Emily. Something I miss doing and am looking forward to it 100%. To end this, I just am so happy to have had a great summer with all my friends and family and feel so blessed to be able to have done the things we did this summer. Cheers to a great summer.
